Life Changing Opportunities
I am on the lookout for potential life-changing opportunities. Those little moments where I end up meeting a new group of people or being exposed to a new idea that ends up shaping the next portion of my life.
Every day I take a million actions that I’m 95% sure will not change my life. And so when I’m presented with something that has a higher chance, maybe 20% or 50%, I want to jump at it.
Make a website for an election campaign? Sure!
Go to Burning Man 2012? Yes!
Random house meeting to talk about MLK and social movements? I’ll check it out!
This doesn’t mean I’m going to say yes to everything. But I’m going to starting considering the life changing potential, and if the alternative is just more of the same? I’m going to chose the adventure.
